Alkalyxir 200g

What is ALKALYXIR?

ALKALYXIR is a unique, patent-pending, broad acting, well tolerated dietary supplement developed to maintain a more alkaline physiologic environment in spite of an acidic lifestyle. ALKALYXIR plays an important and needed role in preventing the recurring cycle of alkaline buffer depletion that can lead to a wide range of health disruptions including digestive, joint, skin and immune disorders.

Modern lifestyles including lack of exercise, a dietary preponderance of processed foods, sugar and caffeine, as well as excessive levels of personal stress all contribute to an inherently acidic internal terrain. As a result, much greater emphasis has recently been given to the importance of assisting the body in its ability to maintain a reasonable homeostatic mechanism for compensating for chronic internal acidity.

Alkalyzing Components

Citric Acid

As a primary constituent of the ALKALYXIR proprietary blend, citric acid is mixed with potassium bicarbonate. When ingested, this combination naturally forms potassium citrate within the physiological environment itself. Potassium citrate is a strong metabolic alkalinizer. Due to its pharmacologic effectiveness, it is often utilized in over-the-counter preparations to increase physiological pH and to aid in dissolving certain types of kidney stones, which can form as a result of excess acidity. Promoting the creation of potassium citrate internally is a critically important element in the alkalizing process since it encourages systemic shifts in pH from excessive acid to more alkaline states, rather than simply addressing stomach acidity, which lessens the likelihood of acid-related disorders.

Glycine

The presence of Glycine in ALKALYXIR helps ensure the shift of physiologic pH to a more alkaline state by treating the causative origins of an acidic internal environment. Glycine is an alkaline donor at the normal physiologic pH of 6.0-7.4, and remains a stable alkaline donor even at a pH as high as 9.6. Secondly, glycine binds to the locus ceruleus region of the central nervous system, reducing levels of vigilance that contribute to internal and external stress that cause higher levels of physiological acidity. Because of these properties, glycine makes a good addition to the protein buffer system of the body.

Potassium bicarbonate

The bicarbonate component in this ingredient becomes the raw material for the body’s bicarbonate buffer system. The elemental potassium then becomes available for the adequate transport of hydrogen across cell membranes, helping to maintain critical intracellular stores of potassium needed to sustain stable pH levels.

Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice (DGL)

DGL has been well researched for its ability to stimulate and/or accelerate the protective factors which protect against ulcer formation in the stomach and upper intestinal lining. Research also shows that it directly absorbs acid and increases the pH in biological systems. DGL is also an anti-inflammatory and adrenal tonic while also containing a wide selection of mineral compounds with help maintain alkalinity.

Recommended Dosage:

Capsules - Take one to two capsules up to two times a day as needed or as directed by your health care practitioner. Discontinue use after reaching a consistent evening alkaline reading (pH 7.0 - 7.5). Resume use if acidic evening readings return.

Powder - Mix one teaspoon in water one to two times daily or as directed by your health care practitioner. Discontinue use after reaching a consistent evening alkaline reading (pH 7.0 - 7.5). Resume use if acidic evening reading return.

**Test strips are available for measuring pH levels**
